Parbet
is a betting exchange and its main markets are Sweden, Norway,
Denmark, Finland, Poland, Germany, Spain, Italy and United
Kingdom. Parbet is primarily a sports betting exchange. It
is a fairly new exchange and thus there are several markets
that are extremely illiquid - i.e. no turnover whatsoever
or very small. Its most active market is soccer. Parbet primarily
caters to the Continental European players as all bets are
in Euros and most of the sports covered are popular on the
Continent.
There is no initial sign-up bonus for the betting exchange.
There is a 100% match bonus up to $100 on their poker room.
Parbet
covers primarily sports, and primarily those that are popular
in Europe suchas soccer, handball, trotting and ice hockey.
Below are all the market currently covered by Parbet:
Soccer
Ice Hockey
Basketball
Handball
Bandy
Tennis
American Football
Golf
Silly Season
Table Tennis
Golf
Olympics
You can act as a market maker or a trader - and you can either
back or lay a market/bet. And you do it against fellow members
and not an institution. On certain events, the betting is
available in running up till the last minute!
In Livebetting, Parbet shuts down all active orders at the
start of the event; when someone is sent off (soccer only)
and when goals are scored. If there is a penalty (kick/hit)
the market closes and if the goal is scored all active orders
are wiped. If there is no goal, the market opens again and
earlier orders stand. For live betting on tennis and handball
the market clears only when match starts and closes at the
end of the match. When an order is placed during live betting
there is a delay of approximately 5 seconds before the order
reaches the market.
Parbet's
Loyalty Programme is very similar to that of Betfair's. Each
time you make a bet, you earn loyalty points. Your loyalty
tier is dependent on the number of points that you have accummulated
which will then determine the commission charged by Parbet.
The regular 4% commission can be lowered to as low as 1.5%.
One point is being earned for each winning or loss of €
10 on a market. Should you have an account in another value,
your points will be calculated with regard to this.
If you for instance win € 70 on a market, you will earn
seven points. Should you on the contrary lose € 20 on
a market, you will still earn points, in this case two points.
Easy
to navigate website although very limited in the information
provided. However, in our trials, the servers were quite slow
in downloading the web pages holding the various betting types.
Considering its current low volumes, we wonder how it will
be if things get much busier. As you can see from the right
image, the total matched bets on the Manchester City and Manchester
United game is €190 whereas at Betfair at the same time
is over £222,000 and the spreads are greater as well
at Parbet (which is understandable as the volumes are so much
lower).
There
is no telephone support available at all. There is no 24/7
Live Chat support either. The support is attended seven days
a week between 09:00 AM to 24:00 PM (CET).
