ROOM REVIEW - POKER 333 |
 |
Poker 333 is a “network skin” which is part
of the PrimaPoker Network, with its shared player database.
Prima Network has grown quickly in 2005 and now has well over
10,000 players online at peak time and several thousand off
peak. Up to $333 initial sign-up bonus as well as 10% rakeback
programme makes Poker 333 one of the best Prima Network-based
poker rooms. The $333 is quite easily obtained in a day by
players that play at $1/2 (any form of poker) tables. $111
are credited directly onto your account once you have played
650 raked hands and then another $111 for each subsequent
650 raked hands up to $333. One of the best sign-on bonus
schemes around. If you like the Prima Network, then Poker
333 is definitely worth a go.
The software has been improved lately, but still leaves some
room for improvement. On the positive side, there are many
very juicy and aggressive games, which is good both for the
action lover and the advanced players looking for a good hourly
return. With the generous promotions and much larger player
volumes, Royal Vegas Poker has become one of the market leaders
in online poker entertainment.

333 - INTERFACE |
| Poker
333 software is a customised shared-network version of Prima
Poker Network by Microgaming. Poor graphics and limited functionality.
There is no player options menu where you can set your preferences.
Looks more like a casino lobby than a poker lobby. Although
there have been a number of smaller makeovers of the software
during 2003 and 2004, there is still a lot of improvements required
before reaching the level of top poker room software. Royal
Vegas Poker does share the player base with the rest of the
Prima Poker Network to ensure high traffic. Hand history is
available by HTML page and via email. One nice feature is the
possibility to see all actions in the chat area to the right
- who raised and called and for which amounts in the previous
betting rounds and previous hands. This feature is invaluable
for players not keeping full focus on the game (playing on other
tables or having other distractions). In summary, the software
is now OK, but leaves some room for improvement. |

333 - PLAYER TABLES |
Very
basic table layout. No player avatars and no options feature
to set up your individual player preferences and there is
only limited sound (just when cards being dealt). There is
a time bar which is now much quicker, actually too quick for
some. However, this ensures relatively fast paced games. If
loose games are what you are looking for and not too worried
about fancy graphics and functionalities, Poker
333 is definitely of interest. Easy to switch between
2 tables only if you like to play on more than one table at
the same time. Only really annoying thing is that the chat
window cannot be minimised. |

333 - RING GAMES |
Poker
333 (Prima Poker) ring game traffic is quite high. The
ring game traffic at peak times is around 3,000 players. Fairly
limited game variety. However, the action tends to be loose
and fast. A lot of short-handed tables (max. 6 players) and
plenty of high limit tables. |

All I can say is that I love
the loose play especially at the low stakes NL tables.
Think that the majority of players have stumbled across
to the poker room from the Royal Vegas online casino and
play poker like they gamble - lady luck rather than pot
odds. With the free $10 download bonus, turned it into
a few hundred within a few days. So I can forgive them
for the poor graphics and limited player setting options.
Easy money to be made here. |
