Nine.com is a well established sports book and has been online since 1997. The poker room has a clean look with big and clearly visible cards. The software offers very good playability as well as a good statistics function. The original sign-up bonus is decent and they also offer continuous re-load bonuses with 25% match up which add extra value. The traffic is fairly fast growing and Nine.com is expected to be take their fair share of the market. At peak hours there are currently 200-300 real money ring game players and 300-400 tournament players. Off peak there are only a handful of tables being played at.

Its biggest attraction is its variety of games on offer. Will be a lot more interesting when player volumes increase as at the moment, there is really only action at the Texas Holdem tables.

The cards are big and easy to see but no fancy player avatars. The playability is good and runs both fast and smooth. A nice statistics function is available where you get to see stats on your play. To mention a few functions you can see your viewed flop percentage, win percentages, stats for your play in the blinds, total dealt hands, and pots won. On the downside there is little time to make decision and no clear indication of much time you have left before your cards are folded. But overall the software is good and offer a nice playing experience. However, player note function would have been nice which is missing.

Very low volumes off peak and only moderate at peak hours; often less than 200 players at the ring tables. The action is fairly loose with soft games. However, with so few tables running, not a lot of choice. No action at the higher limits. The potential is there but for the time being, much better action elsewhere. Shame as the software is actually quite decent. Works better in our view than let's say Cryptologic's.

Nine.com Poker tournament volumes are slightly higher although we can't see the reason why as the tournament schedule is nothing to shout home about. No high value, nor any guaranteed multi-tournaments. It seems as if the tournaments are popular due to the low entry fees such as $1 + $0.10 for some of their multis.
